The Good Tidings Holiday Giving Campaign

In the spirit of this tradition, Cape Cod Broadcasting has created the “Good Tidings” Holiday Giving Campaign to support the Cape & Islands United Way. Your donation to the United Way will help us support this organization and its objectives in the coming year.  And most importantly, “when you give here, it stays here”.

How you can Help

Your charitable donation to Cape Cod Broadcasting’s Good Tidings Campaign to benefit the Cape and Islands United Way provides essential funding for human service initiatives on the Cape and the Islands.  You can donate here.

Why the Cape and Islands United Way?

  • They are the single largest non-governmental funding source of human service programs on the Cape and the Islands.
  • They provide over $ 1,000,000 of local program support annually.
  • 99 % of all dollars contributed to the Cape and Islands United Way stays here in the communities we serve.
  • They focus on three community high impact areas:
    • Nurturing and Protecting Children and Youth
    • Supporting and Sustaining Families
    • Support for Aging and Vulnerable Populations
  • They are a locally chartered, professionally managed and independently governed organization by an all-volunteer board of local leaders.
  • Funding decisions are approved by the Board of Directors, upon the recommendations of an all-volunteer Community Investment Committee.
  • The Cape and Islands United Way has over 150 volunteers engaged in fund-raising, assessing long and short-term community needs and operational support.
  • The Cape and Islands United Way seeks to be more than money to the community... building partnerships, forging consensus, and leveraging resources to a make a measurable difference.
